  • Coretta Bessi
    Chief Procurement Officer, Westpac

    Coretta Bessi is a well-recognised and highly respected Procurement thought leader. Her previous executive experience spans across the mining industry with BHP Billiton, heavy manufacturing with BlueScope Steel, telecommunications with Australia’s National Broadband Network and energy utilities with Ausgrid.

    She has broad exposure having been engaged across the private sector and the public sector as a consultant. Coretta is passionate about the professionalism of Procurement and Supply Chain so has lectured for in excess of twelve years to university masters students. Her other topics of interest are sustainable procurement, digital transformation and talent diversity across females and millennials.

    Coretta is currently the Chief Procurement Officer at Westpac, co-founder of Ladies in Procurement Network and Director of St John Ambulance (NSW).

  • Ro Coroneos
    Senior Manager, Lendlease

    Ro is a lawyer, land economist and corporate governance professional with 30 years’ public and private sector experience in real estate and utilities sectors.

    Ro works in Lendlease’s global supply chain team, focusing on supply chain risk, human rights and modern slavery.

    Ro previously led the Social Strategy for Lendlease’s Barangaroo Project, which included the multi-award winning Barangaroo Skills Exchange, a ‘pop-up’ college with TAFENSW, which over the Project period upskilled over 11,000 construction workers.

    Ro also authored the Design for Dignity Guidelines, which are ‘Best Practice’ principles for inclusive design in commercial spaces, in collaboration with the Australian Network on Disability and the Westpac Group. The Guidelines won the (business category) of the 2016 Australian Human Rights Awards.

    Ro chairs the Property Council of Australia’s Social Sustainability Committee, and is a member of the NSW TAFE Commission Board.

  • Jonathan Dutton

    Jonathan Dutton is widely recognised as an expert commentator on procurement. He has developed a reputation for challenging key note speeches delivered with genuine passion, rich content and dry humour which offer a strategic perspective on procurement and supply chain management

    Until February 2013, he was the founding Managing Director and CEO of CIPS Australasia for almost a decade. Jonathan was responsible for all aspects of CIPS activities as the global peak body for professional procurement & supply management in this region. He represented the profession and its standards to the highest levels of business and government and led the profession for almost a decade during its formative years in this region.

    Today, JD is an independent management consultant specializing in procurement, supply management, negotiation, business development, sales & marketing and CSR. Over the last decade or more he has presented or hosted over 500 procurement events.

    Jonathan is also a prolific author and editor of procurement white-papers, articles & blogs and he is a frequent key note speaker at leading procurement and supply chain events
